Frances Rowat is the author of several published speculative fiction stories (and even more which have not yet been revised and submitted). She has a Bachelor’s Degree in English, and has taken several courses from the Rambo Academy for Wayward Writers. She currently works at testing software and teaching people about science fiction, and maintains her enthusiasm for submitting work by counting up centiBrads, a metric she invented. When possible (which is not often), she attends WorldCon.

She grew up in Canada, England, Algeria, and Switzerland. Currently she lives in Ontario with her husband and several pets, where she is most often found behind a keyboard. When not reading or writing, she enjoys jigsaw puzzles, pulpy television shows, post-apocalyptica, and knitting.
